Desiree Des is a New York based artist who examines her environment through photography, sculpture, and community engaged projects. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art from Alfred University and completed a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science at Rutgers University. She has been the recipient of the Institute for Electronic Art Print Media Residency (Alfred, NY), and her work has recently been seen in BOMB Magazine and at SARDINE Gallery (Brooklyn). Currently, she is an MFA candidate at Hunter College.
